Rock transportations on Lääkärinkatu on Saturdays

Traffic controllers will be directing traffic and ensuring road safety.

The total volume of rock extracted at the Laakso Joint Hospital construction site so far stands at 6,000 solid cubic meters. In order to keep to the excavation schedule, rock transportations will also run on Saturday, February 25 and on Saturday, March 4. Saturday transportations may also need to be resumed later.

The trucks will use Lääkärinkatu to get in and out of the site. Police officers will be directing traffic to ensure road safety.

Our rock transportation trucks will be redirected to the new site road later in the spring. The new temporary access road will connect the Laakso Hospital area to Nordenskiöldinkatu via the Laakso riding arena.

Noisy works scheduled for between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday

We endeavor to limit our noisiest works to between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Some works need to be carried out outside of these hours, however, and all construction work generates some noise.
