About us
The Laakso Joint Hospital project is an alliance project with several parties.
Builders and designers
The City of Helsinki and HUS will each own half of the Laakso Joint Hospital. The joint owners of the hospital have established a real estate company (Kiinteistöosakeyhtiö Laakson yhteissairaala), which will act as the client in the construction project. The hospital area will be built by the Laakso Joint Hospital (LYS) Alliance.
In addition to the real estate company, the parties to the Alliance include the prime contractor SRV and the parties working in planning and design.

Infrastructure and building automation
We will be carrying out extensive infrastructure construction work in and around the hospital area, for which SRV has formed a sub-alliance in which it is partnered with Destia.
Building automation will also be a significant part of the hospital building. Amplit, Consti and Quattroservices are alliance partners in the development phase of the Laakso Joint Hospital.
Future users of the hospital
The reform of the hospital area requires a great deal of work from its future users, i.e. the personnel of HUS and the City of Helsinki’s social services and health care division. Nearly 100 of them will work in close cooperation with the designers and builders.
